Luca Guidarini

Luca Guidarini is a composer, musicologist, and sound director. His work focuses on the relationship between technological means, performance, and sound itself, with a particular attention to composition for mixed music. His music has been presented at festivals such as Biennale Musica di Venezia, Music Biennale Zagreb, Traiettorie (Parma), Crossroads Festival (Salzburg), Sound Spaces (Malmö), among others. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Conservatorio “L. Campiani” of Mantova, where his research focuses on computer-assisted composition and orchestration in mixed music. He is part of the research groups CCOrP (Contemporary Composition and Orchestration Practices, Conservatorio di Mantova/Università di Pavia) and DALM (Dialogic Approaches to Living Music, Università di Pavia). He is a member of the ensemble Collettivo_21, where he works as composer and sound director.
