Electronic Musician, Sound Artist, Composer · Tehran, Iran

Farbod Hamedi, known as Noise Space, is an Iranian electronic musician, noise artist, and sound designer based in Tehran, Iran. Beginning his musical journey as a teenager, he developed his practice through self-learning and experimentation with computer-based composition, electronic sound, and digital processing.

His work explores the sonic possibilities of noise, glitch, field recordings, and manipulated electronic textures, transforming everyday mechanical and industrial sounds into immersive musical environments. Through his practice, Hamedi investigates the relationship between listener, machine, and the contemporary soundscape surrounding everyday life.

He has collaborated with independent experimental music platforms including Noise à Noise and has released works through various electronic music projects. In 2020, he released his first noise and glitch EP through Platform 101 and SLV Records. His work has also been presented in audiovisual and glitch art contexts, including the exhibitions GLITCH: Pixel Language and GLITCH: Aesthetics of the Pixel.
