Experimental Electronic Music Project · Italy
SONOLOGYST is the solo project of Italian artist Raffaele Pezzella. The project explores experimental electronic and electroacoustic sound inspired by early sonic experimentation of the 1950s and 1960s while looking toward future possibilities of electronic instruments. The music combines improvisation, scientific sonic documentary approaches and psychedelic abstraction. Since 2014 Pezzella has curated the Unexplained Sounds Group network focusing on experimental music worldwide. He founded the label Eighth Tower Records in 2017 and ZeroK in 2020.
