Noise vs. Noise #7

The seventh evening belonged to Magic Mind (Hamidreza Chegini) and Neuronal Noise (Raha Mahdavi): two sets of 45 minutes on analog synthesizers and Max/MSP, algorithmic noise at 220 to 280 beats per minute, the most undeniable noise the studio and the café upstairs had heard. It was also the most eventful day: the sound leaked into the backyard and upset some of the neighbours, which an honest apology settled.

The duo brought along a patient, experienced audience. Arman Moghadam improvised the visuals, horizontal lines in red and white that changed shape and colour over each of the two long sets.
