One of the evenings with the most performers.

OESTI opened with a twenty-minute, upbeat techno set, built from sounds we know from mainstream media with a pinch of noise added. Arman Moghadam improvised the visuals: black and white at first, turning more and more colourful with the intensity of the percussion.

Kasra 4k7 drew the biggest crowd: people were waiting in the café downstairs well before the start. With so many analog instruments on stage he worried about the power supply, since a blackout would wipe them like a computer's memory; after a longer soundcheck he started at 17:50 and recreated live the two pieces he had released with us, for thirty flawless minutes, his first concert after years away. Arman Moghadam answered with horizontal lines whose size, shape and colour followed the sound.

Amir Maher, a music student, played one of his very first live sets: piano and string sounds, some played live on the keyboard he brought. Saturn Cube (Mohsen Tehrani), then a newly invited member of the label, played an ambient and electronic set that included Ocean Soul, his piece on our compilation; it was the occasion of our first conversation with him.

Erfan Ashourioun closed the night with visuals projected by Hida Bahmani. It may have sounded harsh to some, but their experience of sound and light on the theatre stage showed throughout.
