Noise vs. Noise #4: Artist Talk

An artist gathering that turned into a talk, open to the invited artists of the label, to those who had answered Limited Access's open call, and to anyone who wanted to join.

It began with composers trained in classical music, Parsa Hadavi, Owrang (Ali Mohajer) and Ghodsea (Mohammad Sahebzamani); others joined later, among them Arman Moghadam, Rahi Safavi (artist and mechatronics engineer) and OESTI (Omid Imani), and noise could be discussed from very different backgrounds.

Soheil Soheili opened as panelist with key texts and ideas on noise by Jacques Attali, Morton Feldman, Edgard Varèse, Henry Cowell, Simon Reynolds, John Cage, R. Murray Schafer, Luigi Russolo and Masami Akita (Merzbow), and the session found its way into a shared conversation of questions and answers. It was recorded.
