Omar Fadel Hadi

Omar Fadel Hadi is a Baghdad-based Iraqi sound artist, composer, and electronic musician whose practice explores ambient, drone, and experimental electronic music. A self-taught producer, he began developing his solo work in 2019 after years of listening to jazz, rock, blues, and metal, eventually focusing on synthesizer-based composition and sound design.
His music is built from spacious textures, evolving electronic atmospheres, and a strong interest in immersive listening. Using synthesizers, digital production tools, and layered sound design, Hadi creates works that move between ambient minimalism, cinematic electronics, and experimental sonic exploration. Alongside music production, he has also engaged with visual art and artist interviews, reflecting a broader interdisciplinary interest.
Since launching his solo project, Hadi has released independent albums and EPs on Bandcamp and has collaborated with artists from Europe and Australia. His work has also appeared on international compilations, including releases by Noise à Noise.
