Howling Mystics
Experimental Improvised Music Duo · Berlin, Germany
Members unknown, Oleksandra Kopelyan (growthrings)
Played with Ruido Polimnix
Howling Mystics is the duo of unknown and Oleksandra Kopelyan (growthrings), whose sound oscillates between primal noise and hypnotic pulses through lap steel guitar, Korg Minilogue, tape recorders, pedals, and voice. Their live performances are ritualistic and immersive, blending ancient vocal harmonies with contemporary electronic textures; a defining element is the use of dream machines—stroboscopic light devices that intensify the sensory experience of their music.
