The fourth edition of our performance series focuses on resilience, rupture and liberation: moving through barriers and releasing sound into new contexts, with international and Berlin-based artists on the same stage.
Vahid E. Hosseini opened with setar, piano and electronics, a dialogue between Persian heritage and experimentation. LIJEL followed, stretching classical voice and South Slavic choral traditions into raw electronic textures and noise. The trans-Atlantic duo Idol Worship unfolded slowly, like a procession, with drones and folk gestures blending into experimental soundscapes. Angstresonanz, the project of Dabria and Katharina, filled the room with trumpet drones, dense walls of noise and spectral vocals; the name means "resonance of fear". Ellis Sandro and Pedro Vaccaro closed the night with a back-to-back DJ set of techno and dubstep.
