Album premiereConfronting Noises #1Mon 30 Dec 2024 · PAS BerlinAbout
Berlin, September 2024 – Noise à Noise is proud to announce the release of the second installment of its latest compilation album, Noise à Noise 24.2: Resistance 2. This collection continues to feature experimental electronic and contemporary artists from across the globe, further exploring the multifaceted theme of resistance—not in a political or governmental sense, but as a deeply personal and human response to the injustices and challenges that threaten human dignity and freedom.
Following a special performance by a selection of featured artists in Berlin on December 30th, 2024, Noise à Noise 24.2: Resistance 2 will be released on December 31st, 2024.
Resistance, as explored in this second volume, delves deeper into the internal and psychological dimensions of this profound human imperative. It examines how individuals find strength within themselves to endure hardship, cultivate empathy, and challenge systems of oppression through acts of quiet resilience and creative expression.
This compilation features artists who grapple with themes of displacement, marginalization, and the erosion of individual freedoms. Through their music, they offer a powerful testament to the human spirit's capacity to resist and reclaim its dignity in the face of adversity.
About the Album Concept: Resistance as an Internal Journey
Building upon the foundational ideas presented in Noise à Noise 24.1: Resistance 1, this second volume delves into the internal and psychological dimensions of resistance. It explores how individuals find strength within themselves to endure hardship, cultivate empathy, and challenge systems of oppression through acts of quiet resilience and creative expression.
Resistance, in this context, is not merely a political act but a deeply personal journey of self-discovery and self-empowerment. It is about finding the courage to stand up for one's beliefs, to challenge the status quo, and to reclaim one's agency in the face of adversity.
We invite listeners to embark on a sonic journey of introspection and resistance with Noise à Noise 24.2: Resistance 2. This collection serves as a reminder that even in the face of overwhelming challenges, the human spirit possesses an inherent capacity to resist, to heal, and to ultimately emerge stronger and more resilient.
