Rübezahl

Rübezahl is a sound artist currently based in Taiwan. Using a Game Boy, he sends out bleeps and pulses at extreme speeds, where fast becomes the new slow. Combined with the soothing tones of the distinctive xaphoon, his work creates a deliciously entertaining apocalyptic atmosphere. Through further processing, he continuously blurs the line between the dancefloor and experimental music.

From 2018 to 2020 he cycled from Germany to Taiwan with the tap dancer Malikah, passing through twenty countries and playing concerts along the way.
