Terminal Beach Boys is a duo of sorts, a collaboration between Ghazi Barakat (aka Pharoah Chromium) & d4mnj4r. Their sound is politicized, industrialized and tribalized, a mixture of slowed down post-orientalist grooves, electric and acoustic wind instruments, out of this world back & foreground noises.
Ghazi Barakat, also known as Pharoah Chromium, is a Berlin-based experimental artist and sound designer. He played in rock and post-krautrock projects such as The Golden Showers, Stereo Total and Boy from Brazil, and took the name Pharoah Chromium, after the band Chrome, for his electronic and avant-garde collages.
d4mnj4r is a Berlin-based experimental electronic musician, sound artist and synthesizer player. Active in Berlin's noise, free improvisation and avant-garde music scenes, they are best known for manipulating analog synthesizers and live electronics.
