Majid Kiamehr
Sculptor, Generative Artist, Creative Developer
Majid Kiamehr (born in Iran in 1990) is a sculptor, generative artist and creative developer. He began making sculptures in 2008, graduated in sculpture from the University of Tehran, and from 2013 to 2016 showed his work in group and solo exhibitions. A turn towards animation led him to a master's degree and into new media.
Today he works with real-time generative art, projection mapping, shader art, immersive installations and interactive media, often in TouchDesigner, and teaches workshops on interactive art. His sculpture and video installation exhibition Defective Balance was shown at Charsou Pardis in Tehran, and with Arman Moghadam he created the exhibition Garden, Gate of Paradise at the Carpet Museum (2025). He also designs visuals, posters and multimedia for theatre.
