RCO

RCO is an experimental sound art duo formed by Berlin-based media artist Karl Heinz Jeron and Athens-based sound artist Katerina Konstantinou. Their practice centers on building and performing with custom electronic circuits, wired everyday objects, and repurposed gadgets to generate ephemeral, improvised, multi-layered sound environments. Rather than composing in advance, RCO approaches each performance as a live process of discovery — feedback loops, circuit behaviors, and the acoustic properties of unexpected materials are allowed to unfold in real time, making each installation unique and unrepeatable. The duo performed at Klangteppich III, Berlin, 2021 as guests of the Noiselab festival — a platform dedicated to experimental and electronic music at the interface of contemporary sound art, designed for improvisational musicians, sound tinkerers, and electronic inventors. Their performance at the festival was documented in the official Klangteppich III video, recorded at tak – Theater Aufbau Kreuzberg.
