We are proud to announce the upcoming release of Harvest, the debut album by Tehran-based electronic music composer and sound artist Hesam Kardan. Available for digital pre-order starting on the last day of January in 2025, Harvest will officially release on February 20th.
Harvest explores the delicate interaction between humans and nature through a series of carefully crafted soundscapes. Exploring different sonic spaces using various sound production and manipulation techniques.
Only portions of it have just been featured in the recent compilation by the label ‘Noise à Noise 24.1: Resistance 1’ on december 2024. The sound set offers a glimpse into the meditative yet sometimes chaotic world of Kardan’s repertoire.
Hesam Kardan is an electronic music composer and sound artist from Tehran, whose works focus on the interplay between acoustic instruments, found sounds (field recordings), and electronic manipulation.
Hesam Kardan is a musician and electronic music performer from Tehran, Iran. With a background in Classical music and making use of digital sound processing techniques, Kardan’s compositions often strive to infuse the organic with the synthetic, crafting sonic narratives that produce a meditative, hypnotic and sometimes chaotic story.
The album Harvest was composed and performed and mixed by Hesam Kardan. Soheil Soheili has done the post-production for the album, and the graphic design is made by Ali Balighi.
